Uncoated aluminum is free of chemicals and coatings for healthy baking, and is safe for use under the broiler. Lid is made of BPA and Melamine-free polypropylene. Aluminum is reactive to the acids in certain foods such as vinegar and tomato products which may darken, pit or corrode the pan.
